Want to get your hands dirty and help wild, native fish? Join Us for a Native Fish Habitat Restoration Event!

Would you like to contribute to Native Fish Society’s largest habitat restoration project ever? Want to see the restored project area in the upper Molalla River first-hand? Then join us for one (or two!) days of replanting along the Molalla River in February!

Volunteer Opportunity Details: We're seeking 10-15 volunteers to help us get around 2,000 native plants in the ground on the 2 acres we disturbed when we added large wood to Copper Creek with heavy machinery last year.

What to bring: Make sure to wear rain gear, sturdy boots, and work gloves.

What we’ll provide: Plants, planting tools, coffee and hot chocolate, and food to keep you energized!

When: 10am to 3pm, Saturday, February 17th and 24th

Where: We’ll meet at the Old Bridge Trailhead, just past where Rooster Rock Rd splits from the Middlefork Rd in the Molalla River Recreation Corridor. We’ll caravan up to the project site from there (approximately 7 miles upriver).

Join us for a rewarding experience as we come together to restore and preserve the vital habitat of wild, native fish along the Molalla River. Your hands-on contribution will make a lasting impact on the Molalla Restoration Project, and we look forward to having you on board!

Please RSVP in advance so we can bring enough refreshments for everyone!
